Finished watching Moonlight Resonance yesterday and it was SO GOOD. Erin hurry up and watch it so that we could talk about it.
Even though it was good, the ending was kind of similar to Heart of Greed. The "good guys" will eventually live happily ever after and the villains...well you know.
...really want to write about what happened but don't want to be mean coz some people ak Jess, Erin, Grace...hopefully Pansy will watch it. Pansy...if u do watch it DUN SKIP EPISODES! IT'S TOO GOOD 2 MISS ANY OF THEM!
hm...shall put up some screencaptures to perhaps persuade or tempt people to watch Moonlight.
However..if i got to choose...hmm...i dunno
Heart of Greed had more KISSING SCENES but then Moonlight has my favourite actress KATE TSUI. BTW...Kate is the manipulative character in the last few episodes...similar to Bosco's role in Heart of Greed.
Farout can't write anything bout it coz apparently you guys haven't watched the friggin drama. So will probably find it like BORING.
Fine...i'll talk about my day today. Woke up in the morning and went to the library to some random stuff...and then did nothing after i came home...except for typing atm.
Nothing to talk about..OK then, back to Moonlight Resonance. I really hope that the producers make another sequel to it. I mean it's like so good...reached peak points of 50 during the last few episodes.
...ok i shall copy and paste the synopsis for you guys.
Gam Tai Jo (Ha Yu) was the co-owner of a bakery named the Moonlight Bakery with his wife Chung Siu Hor (Louise Lee). After their marriage break-up, Cho and Hor each took custody of half of their six children. Cho took Ga (Moses Chan), Yuen (Chris Lai) and Chung (Vincent Wan) and Hor took Ho (Raymond Lam), Yuet (Tavia Yeung) and Heng (Fala Chen). The breaking up of her family left Hor shattered. Cho, with the help of his second wife, Yan Hung (Michelle Yim), took the name Moonlight Bakery and expanded the bakery throughout Hong Kong resulting with a family asset total of one billion Hong Kong dollars. On the other hand, Hor struggles to earn a living by setting up her new bakery store.
Afer moving into the house, Hung, a mean woman who values her own benfits only, begins to play tricks in the family trying to distant Cho from Hor and his children. To help her accomplish this task, Hung tries to please her mother-in-law Sheh Gwan Lai (Lee Heung Kam) who has always had a deteriorating relationship with Hor and bribes Lai's sister, Sheh Lai Mui (Fung So Bor), and her son, Mak Yau Gung (Lei Seng Cheung) to stay by her side after Gung commits a crime against the bakery. Hung's actions anger Hor's sister, Chung Siu Sa (Susanna Kwan) greatly and she seeks to take back the Moonlight Cake shop brand name. So in order to do this, Sa takes action at court and this further causes the two families to drift apart.
Apart from earning a living, Hor spends her time on managing her family and teaching her children how to be good people. Ga is not interested in managing the cake shop at all and indulges in the stock markets making Hor very worrried about him.
At the same time, Ga has become romantically linked to his cousing Low Ga Mei (Kate Tsui) at the same time as loving his adopted sister, Yuet at the the same time. This causes him to develop an incurable heart disease. Hor's other son, Ho loves Hung's daughter, Yu So Chau (Linda Chung) greatly since a child but Chau is in love with her colleague, Ling Chi Shun (Bosco Wong). This results into many arguments within the family causing to be even more dysfunctional. Hor's children receive much dispute from Sa. Sa teases Yuet for being adopted, Zhong for being half illiterate, Heng for being mute, Ho for being 'a nobody' and Ga for being a gambler. This causes Hor and her father, Chung Fan Dat (Chow Chung), to be angry with her. She is often scolded but never learns her lesson.
After getting her family back on track (Cho and Lai's relationship with her family greatly improved), Hung becomes jealous of Hor and creates plans to keep Cho away from their contact. She attempts to sell thirty percent of the assets to her ex-husband, Yu Hak Keung Lei Kwok Lun) to bribe Cho but her plans are spoiled once and once again. This eventually leads to Hung seeking legal action against Hor and Cho's family for the family assets as an act of revenge, she decides to give only ten percent of the family assets to Cho and Hor. Cho, furious but helpless at the same time seeks the help of Hor.
ok...now that you guys have read the synopsis...i think some of you will find it boring...that's what i thought at first when i read it but then if you watch it...it's like a totally different perspective. Like...the characters can actaully cry...as in cry naturally. It looks so real that it's not funny.
