what is really happening

sorry this "reply" took so long
but it took me this long to come to a conclusive explanation

in short, there are TWO types of "bad" things that happen on this earth:
1. something which SEEMS bad, but turns out to be good in retrospect
2. something that is actually bad.

the first type is self explanatory, but from the christian POV, why does the 2nd happen?
again, there are a few possible explanations.

- as humans, we have all sinned against God by turning away from Him. and because of our sin, we cause bad things to happen on this Earth (like, murder, war, etcetcetc)

but, what about the things that we seem to have no control over? things like disease/death?
- death is the consequence of our sin. EVERYONE (christians included) deserves to die. BUT because of God's never ending grace, through Jesus, who died so that we could live, those who believe in Him (christians) are saved and have eternal life.

and then there are the other bad things that happen. could be irritating/annoying, or even devastating. and also, why do bad things happen to christians if they are protected by God??!
- one word: Satan. the devil. see, Satan is pure evil, and he is filled with a rich and deep hatred of all goodness. thus, he has a never ending desire to destroy everything which is good. the most obvious target of course is Jesus - the epitome of purity and innocent and goodness and just awesome amazing wonderfulness. but of course, Satan could never destroy Jesus, and thus Jesus triumphed over Satan. but Satan doesn't give up - he starts targeting the world, and its people, especially Christians, to deter them, and cause them to doubt that God exists, to resent God, to blame God for the bad things that happen, when really it is SATAN that is doing all these bad things in the world. why? because he is EVIL, and he doesn't want anyone to be able to receive the gift of eternal life and be happy and joyous when they are reunited in heaven with God.
BUT, God bounds Satan through the faith of His followers. if we believe in God truly and with our whole hearts, and we patiently endure all that Satan throws at us, Satan will have no hold on us, as God will give us strength to overcome all the temptation and evil desires and bad things that are caused by our sinful natures.

and so, it is NOT God teasing you - it is Satan, trying to prevent you from becoming a Christian. and are you really going to be manipulated in this way?

ALL we have to do is believe. believe, and live life as God calls us to live, and we receive the best gift ever - that of eternal life, WITH GOD, in heaven. and it's not just life in heaven, with God as our father even on this earth, we are so blessed and protected and loved and looked after.

hmm this is probably a lot to take in, but yeah, anything that i've skimped over and if anyone who reads this wants to know more, PLEASE ASK ME, and i'll try my best to answer, yeah?

...well apparently the one of the 2 people hu died in the crash was a family friend from my mum's workplace.

--mid 20's....just got citizenship and finished his master....and now wat happens??

The pain of losing a loved one can never be expressed in words because words would fail to match up to the pain one goes through after the loss. Though we all know that death is the ultimate truth of our life but still the love for a dear one makes us forget this reality and we keep on bearing the unbearable pain.

As a famous proverb goes, “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” So if you don’t want to make them unhappy then try not to keep on bearing the pain of the loss and just let them feel contented after noticing that you suffer no more from the unbearable pain of losing a loved one. Try to be happy and make your loved ones happiest. Though it is easy to say than get it done but we have to understand that if we keep on bearing this pain then we would be doing no-good to our health.There are many people who don’t give vent to their emotions and this makes their condition more serious. The best way to give vent to your inner feelings is through your tears. Weep for the last time and with those tears pledge that you would no more make your loved one sad by crying again. When you are done with all weeping and crying then remember all the loving moments you enjoyed with your loved one. Cherish these memories and instead of getting tears on your face get a big smile.Just remember that the person you love never goes away from your heart, he/she resides forever in some deep corner of your heart. When you could not get over the pain of losing a loved one then your heart suffers the most. If the heart is not well, imagine what would happen to the person residing in your heart! You have to get over the pain even if you don’t want to because you have no right to hurt people who love you. The sooner you understand this fact, the better it is.We hope the above article helped you some way in getting over the pain of losing a loved one. It is better to share your grief with someone and for that we are always at your service. [ your friendss are always here forr youu ]

[advice #2]

Best thing to do is get out of the house for a while, go see a movie or talk to a friend. Let yourself digest this change without consciously thinking about it. When you get back, maybe write about what you feel, what you will miss, all the good times you had. Just let yourself grieve. These things happen to everyone eventually; try to focus on the great life you provided for Furby, and how lucky you were to have had each other. Not all cats get people in their lives who love them so well.It will get better, I promise. Here's an *hug*

diana came up with all this to make you feel better jess! hopefully it'll relieve you of some of your sorrow - in the end, everyone and everything passes away from this world, but it is the legacy which they have left behind.
so don't allow the loss to drown out those happy memories with QQ, yeah? let him live on in your memories! =] for he shall be remembered forever, while he moves on to a happier place ^^

The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

...and i guess QQ wanted to c his lover for one last time. sigh

stoopid people....if i found out hu ran him over im gna come hunt them down and then crash him/her even if i dunno how to drive YET

...mum woke me up dis morning at 6:30am and told me that QQ was laying on the lawn and it looked as if half his head was gone

so i went out with my PJ's and found him laying near the pole .... eyes were half closed and he had blood all over his body. Dad came out and asked wat happened....and then i went back into the house and slept and cried...literally man i haven't cried in ages

iunno i think i slept for another hour and then i woke up and told raymond about QQ and he tried to comfort me by telling me that QQ must have died as soon as he got hit. So i told raymond to go out and see QQ for the last time. But then we found out that he wasnt there...where did QQ go? Was he still alive? Wat did my dad do?

So we looked everywhere and i thought since my dad is really DUMB maybe he put QQ in the bin or something...so i told raymond to look inside the bin and raymond was like "QQ's eyes are half popped out...it's only held on by some strand. He's all bloody". *sniffs

i looked inside the bin and found QQ there

and then i looked onto the road and saw some smears of blood and so i thought..."QQ got run over by a car and then he was dragged along under the car. Since he appeared near the pole he must have dragged himself there. He must have been in a lot of pain." *burst out in tears

WHY?! Why the hell did they have to kill QQ? Even if it was an accident they could have taken him to an animal hospital! QQ was in so much pain!!! My dear cat...i will foreve miss u!

CURSE WHOEVER RAN QQ OVER! CURSE U!
